Progress on the second over the summer art project for school

I decided to crochet a bunny and then take it apart as a metaphor for child abuse and the lingering trauma it can leave on the mind, as well as how many wounds never truly heal, and the ones that do heal wrong. I finished making the bunny, which I used a pattern for, findable HERE --> https://amigurumi.today/free-amigurumi-plush-easter-bunny-crochet-pattern/ . I would note, however, that I only used the pattern as vague guidelines, and it is definitely not me just copying this person's ideas. I also do not think the creator of the pattern disassembled their bunny afterwards as statement about the loss of innocence in our youth, either.)
I explained to mom that I was going to destroy him and then sew him back together in the wrong ways as a metaphor for child abuse. She seemed actually quite sad at the idea because he was so cute. I told her that him being cute was kind of the point. She was displeased. I asked her to name him, and she chose Fievel; this is a traditionally Yiddish name that means vibrant. She said she associated it with survivors. Fievel will definitely be a survivor. I am grateful that she gave a part of her culture to him, I am going to give him some of mine as well. I will be very affectionate towards him to make sure I am emotionally attached for when I hurt him. I want it to hurt me a little bit, too.
